On-the-fly spellchecking in Kate

Christoph just added an awesome and long awaited feature: on-the-fly spellchecking. 'Kate's xml highlighting files now have an additional attribute in the itemData section: spellChecking="true/false". C++ comments and strings can be spellchecked now :) Same for all other languages such as Latex. Really big thanks to Michel Ludwig for the patch, good work! Screenshot for latex highlighting:

Please, please tell me that it's powered by Sonnet, one of the most awaited KDE4 pillar by me...

I discovered this by accident the other day while using eclipse. I prefer Kate to I was thinking to myself: "I wonder if this is possible in Kate too".

Great work!

Wow! Thanks for the work! Now, I can just shut the mouths up of people at work telling LaTeX is not so good because spellchecking is pooooor...just switch to a good/prof. text editor!! Even for your C/Python/{...} code...don't make mistakes in the documentation.

Ps: for the future....will it be hard to enhance this spellchecking with grammar check (as in word processing app)?

Big hurra for this patch!!!!
