Share Kate Highlighting Files
Thanks to Frank we have a dedicated section for Kate Highlighting files on kde-files.org now. We encourage everyone to publish their .xml files there. The Kate team agreed to add more highlighting files to the official Kate releases, though, as long as they are of general use. For KDE4 we plan to have a section for Kate Indentation scripts, too. But that's content for another blog, which will follow later :)

Not quite right: I am not talking about schemas. I'm talking about e.g. c++ or ruby highlighting definition files, which we store in xml files. They can be found in $KDEDIR/share/apps/katepart/syntax.
But maybe it is also be a good idea to add a way to download schemas.
Cool. It'd be really nice if Kate could do auto indentation when the tab key is hit like XEmacs can. Then I might switch back. :)
New to kate.. Is there any colour schemas to download? Like in vim.. that would be nice. let me know.
